About the author

Nilima Lambah, known as Nina amongst her friends, graduated from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University, and taught for a brief period before marrying Satinder Lambah, an Indian Foreign Service officer. As president of the Indian Women’s Association in Pakistan, Germany and Russia she was actively involved with charitable organizations in the host countries and in India. She was elected president of the International Women’s Club, Moscow. Extensive travels with her husband brought her in contact with well-known personalities from diverse fields in different countries. She is fond of reading, art and music. She has two children and lives in Delhi.
